MY ACTING INFORMATION REPORT
Actors/Actresses perform in theatre, on radio, television & video or motion pictures. It is rather hard for most actors to find work so most actors have back up jobs.There are quite a few ups & downs in the job of an actor. Some of the highlights are being on television, the fame & of course the money. And for some of the lowlights well, the long, long hours of acting, studying lines & lack of sleep. Most of an actor’s time is spent searching for work, auditioning for movies & taking acting classes. An actor’s day normally starts with breakfast, then after that they may practice their lines if needed. A while after that they check if the scene or dialogue has changed. Then after that they will head of to work & rehearse. And then they wait until an actor, crew member or director says they can go home. So they sign out & then they can go.
You don’t have to have many qualifications as a job for an actor can be natural. It may help when you are young to take drama/acting classes or get involved in plays & maybe even take dance classes. Last but not least actors need patience.
When actors are earning good money they often donate money to charities and donate to those in need. For example Canteen sometimes the doctors get some of the actors to come visit or they offer. Actors also contribute to the community by entertaining kids, keeping them busy or making them laugh.
The salary for an actor can go extremely high it depends what stage or position you are in. The highest pay for an actor per. Month can go up to $103,538.00 or possibly even higher. The lowest per. Month for an actor can be $40,390.50 or possibly even lower. And now for the total highest pay per. Year is $110,659.00 or maybe even higher. The lowest pay in total pay is $34,571.00 and this can also go even lower. Now as you can see the salary is definitely one of the highlights.
An actor’s career usually begins when you are young by taking drama or acting classes. After that you are able to move up to go to university to start actually studying to become an actor. Once you have past that stage you will be able to start auditioning for movies, then you can just keep on moving up even higher to be in the Cinema’s & even more pay.
As you can see being an actor isn’t exactly very easy work. It can be extremely frustrating. And don't forget it's not just about the money it’s about weather you enjoy it or not.

Today we dissected a cow's eye ball it actually wasn't as bad as all of us thought it was. First we cut off all of the fat around the eye. Then we cut a hole in the eye and all the goo came out which is actually water & nutrition that helps them see. I was working with Viliami Tupou we were meant to share a eyeball between us but I wanted my own which was a real cool experience not one that will come around everyday!

My Narritive...
I know I shouldn’t be gazing at him dreamily or thinking about how cute he is because I go out with Matthew. We have been very close friends for 6 years. But I can’t stop looking at him he's something special I can feel it. Plus Matthew has been on exchange for 6 months in France and has another 3 weeks and I’m not going to spend it waiting for him to come back! He saw me looking at him and winked at me. He started to walk over in my direction I was nervous I didn’t know what to talk about luckily he started the conversation.
He started with “I saw a beautiful flower this morning but you beat this flower by far” he said sweetlyI blushed “why thank you”.What’s your name “Rose,” I replied.“What a beautiful name.” he said in a deep voice.“What’s yours?” I questioned.“Jack” he replied "How old are you?" he questioned.I replied “18 what about you?”“I’m 18 too!” he exclaimed.“Do you want to go right to the front?” he asked.“I would love to.” I said excitedly. “But first I need to find my friend Alice, why don’t you come help me we can talk and get to know each other?” I asked him.“Sure” Jack replied.“So where do you live?” I asked as I was pushing through the crowd“In Auckland.” Jack said casually, “ Puriri Road Where do you live?”“In Auckland Shorty Road, just a road away from there.” I said softlyHow convenient?I questioned, “Are you going to university?”“Yeah!” he said, happily. “Massey University.”“Wow!” This is strange I’m going there too.“When is your Birthday?” Jack asked.“Tomorrow 29th June. You?” I asked“5th of July!” Jack answered.“What’s your favourite colour?’ I questioned quietly.“Green.” he replied.“Omg!” I said happily “me too!”“We have quite a lot in common, it’s kind of scary.” I said weirdly.Then someone tapped me on the shoulder it was Alice! I gave her a big hug and introduced her to Jack.Jack this is Alice, Alice this is Jack ‘o how are’ – I interrupted sorry we have no time to waste we have to get to the front before we get sandwiched by thousands of sweaty people. We finally reached the front in just the right time as Bruno Mars came running onto the stage.The crowd screamed loudly “we love you Bruno”Jack grabbed my hand and said “I know we’ve only just meet but your gorgeous, we have a lot in common and I really like you” he said in a cute voice.He pulled me into the middle of the dance floor under the spotlight and kissed me! While the song girl you’re amazing was playing.“Wow” I whispered to myself how romantic!
I was rather shocked and didn’t know what to say to him. He pulled me back to the front and we started singing and dancing. Before we knew it, it was 12 o ‘clock and the concert was just finishing. Before we left Jack asked me if I wanted to go out with him. I said yes with a big grin on my face.Then he pulled me close and gave me one last kiss and then we left.When I got home I put on my pretty, pink, fluffy pyjamas with yellow love hearts on them and jumped into bed. All night I was dreaming about the amazing concert and that one kiss. I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door who could it be? I hopped out of bed and ran to the door it was Jack. He had flowers and chocolates and greeted me with a big smile on his face.“Happy Birthday gorgeous!” he said happily.Why thank you!“Quickly get changed I’m taking you into town for some shopping” he said as though he had something to hide.“Come inside take a seat” I said in a polite way.I skipped to my bedroom filled with Joy. It was a sunny day so I put on a skirt and singlet, then went to the bathroom brushed my teeth, put some make-up on, grabbed my shoes and rushed off.We hopped into the car he blind folded me“Keep this on until I say” Jack said excitedly.I waited patiently until we got to town. The car stopped“Hang on Rose I’m just getting something from the boot” he shouted.
I could hear people laughing and splashing. Wait one moment why would there be splashing at town? Why would he take me to the beach? He opened my door we’re here he said and took off my blind fold. He was holding a basket and a picnic blanket“I guess we’re not going to town?” I said sadly“We are going to town but since you missed breakfast we’re going to have a picnic is that alright?” He said politely“Yes that’s wonderful” I said.We picked a delightful spot under the vivid rays of sun,“Gorgeous.” I exclaimed.We lay the picnic mat down and took a seat I was starving so I asked if we could tuck into some food. We had some divine berry muffins, delicious pumpkin soup and some club sandwiches. That sure filled me up. We sat for a while then walked into town. We strolled into Anna. S my favourite clothes shop I tried on a few dresses pink ones, blue ones and purple ones but I really liked this one dress it was a knee high white dress with pink flowers it was $150 though and I didn’t expect him to spend that much on me but he bought it for me. We walked back to the car and then he drove me back to my house.I said “goodbye see you soon” and gave him a hug.It was only 4 o’clock and I was already feeling exhausted. I climbed into bed and fell asleep I didn’t wake up for dinner or anything.
I woke up the next morning at 10: 00 am sharp, bright and happy. The next few days of mine were spent studying, sleeping and eating lots of lollies. The next day I received a call from Jack He had invited me to the movies to see ‘Water for Elephants.’ He picked me up at 12:30pm in his Red Maserati and we headed off to the movies. When we got there we bought our tickets and some Maltesers, my favourite. The movie was great I really enjoyed it. After the movie he dropped me off, I asked if he wanted to come inside and talk. He stayed for dinner we had Mc’ Donald’s, yummy!“Do you want to stay the night? You can sleep on the couch” I asked.He ended up staying the night but he left early in the morning around 6; 00am for work he’s a waitress. I woke up 2 hours later at 8; 00am. He had left a note on the bench saying meet me at the pier 7; 00pm tonight. That got me all excited I already knew what I was going to wear, the white flowered dress he bought for me. I had breakfast and spent the rest of the day cleaning, doing things around the house and baking. When I had finished it was already 6; 00pm I had lost track of time, I quickly but carefully got changed and headed to the pier. When I arrived at the pier I saw him, it was like a flash back from the concert when we first met. I skipped over to him. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked me over to where we were sitting for dinner.“You look as gorgeous as ever!” Jack commented sweetly.I blushed “why thank you” I replied ‘you look very handsome yourself.’We ordered dinner at 7; 10pm and ate at 7; 30pm.“Man that was delicious, I’m too full for dessert” I said to Jack.Jack grabbed my hand and walked me over to the place where you could see the view of the sea. It was just beautiful! He let go of my hand and reached for his pocket “I’ve been saving this since your birthday” he said. As he pulled out came a glass case with a beautiful silver necklace“It’s yours to keep!” he whispered.A big smile swept upon my face, why it’s gorgeous. He took it out of the glass case and put it around my neck.“I absolutely love it!” I said sweetly.“It looks divine!” he replied.We sat for a while then headed back home. I gave him a nice big hug and a kiss on the cheek “I won’t see you for a while because I have to study for university“But I love you!” I said.I gracefully skipped inside ad slid onto the couch, I fell asleep in seconds. I woke up the next morning at 7; 00am nice and early so I had lots of time to study which to be honest I’m not too excited about. I studies until 5; 00pm with only having had breakfast all day so I was starving. I decided to make a big meal Chicken and roast vegetables, yummy! So I called Jack and invited him to dinner. He arrived in seconds and we were eating in no time.“This meal is delicious!” exclaimed Jack.“Isn’t it just” I replied.Oh, and for dessert we have apple & pear crumble with some Neapolitan ice-cream,“I’ll just go get it from the oven” I replied
“Dessert is served” I cried I placed it on the table.“This tastes beautiful!” Jack said as he took his first bite.“Well I better head off know” Jack said as he finished dessert.”“Why don’t you just stay the night?” I asked him“I have Deathly Hallows Part 1 booked you can watch it with me?” I asked him.“I guess one night won’t hurt” he said.We sat on the couch and switched on the TV and started to watch Harry Potter Part 1. I started to drift away halfway through the movie then fell asleep on Jack’s shoulder 5 minutes later. I woke up to find Matthew standing in front of me“what, what are you doing back here you still have one week left in France?!” I said curiously.“I decided to come back early.” He said in a deep voice.“Well I’ve moved on! The whole time you were in France I had no call, nor text not even a postcard for me to see what you’d been up too!” I said trying to keep myself under control. “Well I never loved you!” he said loudly as he stomped out the house. “Well I take that as a goodbye!” I said feeling strange.
It’s now one year after the argument between me and Matthew and he still hasn’t said sorry and I’m not going to beg him to say sorry. And well for me I’m much happier in this relationship. I actually think I love him!

I woke up the next morning at 7; 00am nice and early so I had lots of time to study which to be honest I’m not too excited about. I studies until 5; 00pm with only having had breakfast all day so I was starving. I decided to make a big meal Chicken and roast vegetables, yummy! So I called Jack and invited him to dinner. He arrived in seconds and we were eating in no time.“This meal is delicious!” exclaimed Jack.“Isn’t it just” I replied.Oh, and for dessert we have apple & pear crumble with some Neapolitan ice-cream,“I’ll just go get it from the oven” I replied
“Dessert is served” I cried I placed it on the table.“This tastes beautiful!” Jack said as he took his first bite.“Well I better head off know” Jack said as he finished dessert.”“Why don’t you just stay the night?” I asked him“I have Deathly Hallows Part 1 booked you can watch it with me?” I asked him.“I guess one night won’t hurt” he said.We sat on the couch and switched on the TV and started to watch Harry Potter Part 1. I started to drift away halfway through the movie then fell asleep on Jack’s shoulder 5 minutes later. I woke up to find Matthew standing in front of me“what, what are you doing back here you still have one week left in France?!” I said curiously.“I decided to come back early.” He said in a deep voice.“Well I’ve moved on! The whole time you were in France I had no call, nor text not even a postcard for me to see what you’d been up too!” I said trying to keep myself under control. “Well I never loved you!” he said loudly as he stomped out the house. “Well I take that as a goodbye!” I said feeling strange.
It’s now one year after the argument between me and Matthew and he still hasn’t said sorry and I’m not going to beg him to say sorry. And well for me I’m much happier in this relationship. I actually think I love him!
